Wedding Photography Workshop with Shayben Moussa on Capturing Ceremony
Event description
This is it — the moment everyone remembers. The aisle walk. The tears. The kiss. And if you miss it? You don’t get a redo.
In this high-impact workshop, Shayben Moussa shows you how to shoot wedding ceremonies with confidence, clarity, and precision. You’ll learn how to anticipate moments like a pro, master your camera settings under pressure, and move like a ninja without ruining the vibe (or blocking Uncle Steve’s iPad shot).
He’ll break down:
Exactly where to stand (and when to move)
The perfect settings for unpredictable lighting and pacing
How to capture the emotional highs without interrupting the flow
How to balance storytelling with must-have shots — every time
🚨 New Itinerary:
First Stop — St Joseph’s Church, Croydon (7 Acton St, Croydon NSW 2132)
Arrive by 9:30 AM (no later than 9:45 AM) — we’ll be starting right on 10:00 AM sharp and have limited time inside the church (until 11:15 AM). You’ll learn how to handle difficult lighting, tight spaces, and fast-moving moments during ceremonies, all in a real church setting.
Second Stop — Wangal Park Outdoor Ceremony Session
We’ll then head around the corner to Wangal Park for an outdoor ceremony tutorial, where Shayben will cover how to adapt for natural light and open-air spaces — complete with styled guest seating to create a realistic wedding scenario.
If you’ve ever struggled with overexposed aisle shots, blurry ring exchanges, or awkward church lighting, this session will change the way you shoot ceremonies forever.
