WEDS 10TH SEPTEMBER 1-3PM Songwriting Workshop with Stella Donnelly. This is WORKSHOP #8 of a 9-week series.
In-person or online via Zoom. Sol Green Community Centre, Cnr Montague St &, Coventry St, South Melbourne
Nationally renowned singer-songwriter Stella Donnelly is working with Wild At Heart to facilitate five weeks of songwriting workshops for people with disabilities, neurodivergence, and/or mental or chronic illness. The artist, known for her inviting charm, razor-sharp wit, and authentically raw songs, will provide workshop participants with a wealth of guidance and inspiration informed by her career as a professional songwriter.
WORKSHOP #8 / INSPIRED BY ART
Many musicians use existing works of art to inspire their songwriting narratives. Songs inspired by painting or photography can help create songs that have amazing cinematic quality that tells a story visually and sonically. Stella will provide a variety of inspiration to use - but you’re welcome to BYO.

- This workshop will be live-streamed via Zoom.
- The venue is wheelchair accessible, with 2 accessible parking spots and other free parking.
- Fidgets and other sensory tools are very welcome. Some communal tools are available to borrow.
