Week 2: Brakes - In Depth
Description
In this session we will take an in depth look at the braking system of your bike.
We will look at rim brakes, cable actuated disc brake or hydralic brakes depending on the needs of the group. In the session we will cover:
Identifying faults in the brakes
Set up of brakes
Replacing brake pads
Replacing brake cables
Hydraulic brake bleeding
Cost: We ask that you pay what you feel you can afford and what you feel the course will be worth. Bear in mind the more you pay the more courses we can afford to run. If the course costs are more than you feel you can afford please contact us on info@lochaberenviro.org.uk

If you have attended our introduction to bike maintenance workshop this is a great next step in your bike maintenance progression.
If you would like to jump straight into this session you should have some prior bike maintenance experience and be a confident user of workshop tools such as an allen key and a torque wrench.
