WEEK 4 PLUG IN: Why Cant We All Get Along?: Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution
Event description
When working and existing with fellow humans, it’s impossible not to get into gripes from time to time. How do we communicate our needs assertively, without getting walked all over or without turning into a bully? This workshop explores tools for effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
Plug-In is an ongoing series of online workshops that have been designed by Support Act and CrewCrew to specifically address the needs of live music crew.
The purpose of these workshops is to give crew the tools to deal with life both on and off the road and change the way we go about our daily lives and work. Their aim is to create resilience in both younger and older crew, now and into the future, for men and women alike.
The first round of workshops will be facilitated by the Indigo Project’s Ash King and address issues such as stress management, uncertainty and building resilience, self care and dealing with disappointment.
The Plug-In program is funded by the Australian Government.
