Week of Action - Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This year we'll be raising awareness about our Consent and Relationship Education (CARE) program!

CARE provides age-appropriate context for young people to better understand what consenting sounds, feels and looks like, so they can embrace their right to a happy and healthy life.  We know 1 in 4 Tasmanians experienced sexual abuse during childhood. Show us you CARE and help us make Tasmania a healthier and safer place, free from sexual harm. 

Our main week of action is Monday 15th April to Sunday 21st April. During this week, you can demonstrate your support by wearing teal or purple and hosting a morning tea or event in your workplace, sporting club, social group, or home. 

All funds raised go towards the CARE program reaching every child in every school in Tasmania.  

Once registered we will send you a CARE kit to support your event. This will include a poster, some decorations and a donation box for your space.
