This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Are you interested to develop a collaborative community on rural land or a suburban lot yet not sure how to go about it?

Like all things it begins with a vision.

This is a series of weekly online information sessions to help you get started and avoid many of the pitfalls that people forming new communities
experience.

Jason (DJ) Hilder of ‘Co-creating Community’ will share some of the lessons learned from successful ecovillages, cohousing and other forms of community living gained from both research and lived experiences in collaborative living arrangements.

You can join the sessions at any time and attend later as they will be repeated throughout the year.

Weekly topics:

  1. Forming your individual vision of community
  2. Co-creating a group vision
  3. Governance and decision making
  4. Different points of view and managing conflicts
  5. Sharing and contribution
  6. Membership
  7. Legal and financial arrangements
  8. Making it happen: where, when and how

DJ works with the Global Ecovillage Network Australia and Innovation House to bring both knowledge and practical 'how to' to small and large collaborative community developments. Please contact him if you would like coaching specific to your group needs.
