Weird Worlds / Wild Magic
Event description
Come join us in a day of fantastic adventure in wild worlds!
Brisbane Social RPG are organising one more day of excellent Table Top Roleplaying Games for 2024.
Open to all, no experience or rules knowledge needed.
There are four games to pick from:
Masters of Umdaar – Fate Accelerated
Umdaar, home to savage warriors, cyborg insects, and merciless warlords. Oh, and lasers—lots and lots of lasers. A retro tribute to such shiny serials as John Carter of Mars, Flash Gordon, He-Man, and Thundercats.
I love this retro sci-fi fantasy. It’s got fast, exciting, character driven action, with total gonzo flair. No rules knowledge, prep, or pre-made characters needed – just turn up!
Neon Lords of the Toxic Wasteland
A gonzo vomit-punk post apycolyptic cassette futurism table top RPG. A visceral mash-up of 80s/90s pop culture mixed in a grimdark blender and barfed onto the table!
Ultra-Violent, and style matters tabletop RPG, that builds off of the “BX” rules. Half Medieval Fantasy half Sci-Fi, neon lords of the toxic wasteland is a no-holds-barred to the max game! Oozing 80's and 90's nostalgia the game features items from Ninja Stars to Fanny packs in addition to many references to the era.
If you like the classic 80’s and 90’s action movies, Saturday morning cartoons, like He-man and TMNT, WWE wrestling, fart jokes Punk rock, Synth wave and Metal, then this game is for you.
The Sorcerer's Breakfast - Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th Ed
The town of Untergangsstadt is besieged by the forces of Chaos. It's one saving grace is the powerful magic user Alex Hellstrom but Axel won't cast any spells without his breakfast - and its up to the least likely heroes in Untergangsstadt to face corrupt officials, genocidal elves, drunken orcs, striking butchers and humourless zealots and do just that!
You will enjoy this if you like unlikely (anti)heroes facing doom and disaster in a baroque parody of the early modern period, infused with flavour and flair and paired with a big meaty rules system. This is a great opportunity to try a much beloved game.
