Event description

Invitation to Participate in a Focus Group Discussion

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a common chronic endocrine disorder, accounting for 95% of diabetes cases worldwide. It is characterized by high blood glucose levels due to inadequate insulin secretion and/or insulin resistance.

Pre-diabetes, a major risk factor for T2DM, also increases the likelihood of cardiovascular disease.

Self-care behaviors, including healthy eating, regular exercise, and weight management, are essential for preventing the progression of T2DM.

Conversational agents have shown promise in supporting diabetes self-care by promoting lifestyle modifications and preventive behaviors.

Purpose of the Focus Group Discussion

We would like to invite you to share your needs, preferences, and expectations to enhance the role of conversational agents in diabetes and pre-diabetes management.
