Welcome To Country and Community Climate Action Series Launch - A Season of Reconnecting with art and garden activities

Join us for the launch of the 2022 Community Climate Action Series. This term, we are beginning with a season of Reconnecting - focusing on bringing community together to reconnect with each other and with country. We will be joined by a local Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Elder to Welcome us to Country - followed by art making with Koorie artist Emma Bamblett (Wemba Wemba, Gunditjmara, Ngadjonji and Taungurung) https://www.instagram.com/emmabamblett_koorie_art/?hl=en. Afternoon tea will be provided, and some additional garden, art and general fun activities for all ages.
The Series is run by Neighbours United for Climate Action (NUCA), hosted by NECCHI and funded by Moreland City Council. Wherever possible, these sessions are free and family friendly, and they run once a month. A big THANK YOU to Moreland City Council, in particular the Zero Carbon Moreland team, and NECCHi for their generous support.
To make this a Covid-safe event, participants need to be fully vaccinated (unless exempted) and wear masks indoors.
