This event is for transgender, non-binary, gender questioning and gender-diverse people.

About the session:

This session is designed to support TGD folk who are new to building confidence and clarity around entering and navigating gym spaces but also provide at-home options to connect with our bodies in the safety of our own spaces.

We'll cover:

Gym readiness and getting your gym bag ready
What to expect during a gym visit - layout, equipment etiquette
Equipment tutorial & guidance (at home options)
Space walkthrough and Q&A

Accessibility: Level 1 is wheelchair accessible. Most of the seminar will be on level 1 & 2, but the session will be modified to suit accessibility needs. Three level gym with no lift, 9 stairs per flight with a rest area between each, solid steel support railings along the whole building.

Refundable deposit: There is a $15 refundable deposit for this session, and as long as you either attend the session or cancel more than 2 days in advance, you will be refunded this cost. If you do not cancel with at least two day's notice, or you do not show up, you will be charged the $15. If you are committed to coming to the session but the $15 fee poses a financial barrier, please contact us at groupcoordinator@tgv.org.au.
