Description

Learn how native gardens can support the birds, insects, mammals, and other wildlife that call our region home. This class explores the relationships between native plants and local fauna, offering practical tips for creating habitat in urban spaces—and helping you get to know the wild neighbors living right outside your door. Ideal for both gardeners and anyone curious about the ecology of their neighborhood.

Lou Avery Douglas is the Community Engagement Manager at Theodore Payne Foundation. He is passionate about the relationships between native plants and wildlife, and loves to introduce newcomers to the complex ecological webs all around them.

▶ Live Participation & Two-Week Replay Access: This class will be held online and recorded. Registered attendees will have access to a recording of the class for 2 weeks after the live event.

📌 Save your order confirmation email & digital ticket for easy access to the class’s Virtual Hub on the day of the event. Look for the “View access link” in the registration email. Click the “Access online event” on the digital ticket.
