✨ Welcoming the Babies 2025 ✨

A special community celebration for new and expecting parents

If you have a baby under 2 years of age, we invite you to register for our free local celebration welcoming the newest and youngest residents to our community.

Welcoming the Babies has been a much-loved part of the local calendar for many years, bringing families together to connect, celebrate and learn about local services. This year’s event is proudly hosted by Margie Nightingale MP, with the support of the South West Progress Association, Cr Charles Strunk, and Federal MP Hon Milton Dick.

Each registered baby will receive:
• A personalised welcome certificate
• A commemorative photo
• A gift bag filled with useful items and information for parents

Families will also enjoy:
• Free jumping castle, face painting and sausage sizzle
• Coffee cart
• Information stalls from services such as the Australian Breastfeeding Association, Triple P Parenting, Kidsafe, the Toy Library and more

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other local parents, celebrate your growing family and find out about the support available in our community.
