Event description

Take a day out to nurture your wellbeing in the beautiful environment of Staveley Camp & Native Remnant Forest. 

In the morning you will have the opportunity to connect with other participants before the two main activities:

  • Create nature mandalas in the forest
  • Enjoy a Yoga session, suitable for beginners and those more experienced

Morning tea will be provided along with a delicious lunch and afternoon tea too. 

After lunch you can choose how you'd like to spend your time.

  • Participate in a forest tour with forest kaitiaki gen de spa
  • Relax in hammocks in the forest
  • Learn printmaking skills & use nature to print beautiful cards to take home
  • Connect with other interesting people
  • Take some time for reflection in our Quiet Zone 
  • Explore the beautiful native forest on your own

Through these experiences, you’ll be putting into practice the 5 Ways to Wellbeing;

Please note this adults only event (16 yrs+) has limited places available. 

This event is 1 of 2 organised by Staveley Camp and Keep Learning Mid Canterbury this weekend. The other one is run on Saturday 25th: African Drumming & Dance (tickets here). It is possible to book in for both and stay at the camp for the weekend (in bunkrooms or your own tent/ camper/ caravan). Really make the most of this beautiful place and what is on offer by booking in to both events.
