Wellbelle × SoulBreath Wellness Morning in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Join us on Sunday 5th October 2025 for a pink-themed wellness morning. Together, we’ll move, breathe and connect, and raise vital funds for So Brave, our chosen breast cancer charity.

Why we’re walking

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women aged 20 to 39. In 2021, Cancer Australia estimated that 20,030 new cases of breast cancer would be diagnosed. One in seven Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 85. While most common in older women, around 1,000 cases are diagnosed in young women under 40 every year.. that’s more than two women a day.

Know your body... it could save your life

A simple monthly self-check helps you get to know what’s normal for you. Look for changes in size, shape, or skin texture, and gently feel the whole breast and underarm area. If you notice anything unusual, book in with your GP. Early detection gives the best chance for successful treatment.

• Walk at a relaxed, social pace around Narrabeen Lake

This is more than a walk, it’s a morning of community, connection, and hope. Together, we can stand beside those in treatment, celebrate survivors, and remember the women we’ve lost.

Our goal is to raise $1000 . All ticket proceeds will be donated to So Brave.

So Brave is Australia’s Young Women’s Breast Cancer Charity
They are the only organisation in Australia that specifically focuses on women diagnosed with breast cancer under 40 years old. They empower young women through their Model Ambassador program, which inspires and empowers women going through treatment and recovery. Women look to each other, and their families and friends in times of need. They want to show these women that they are not alone.

Education is a fundamental part of So Brave. They deliver community-wide education programs that raise awareness in young women. So Brave also invests money in breast cancer research, changing the conversation about breast cancer and young women, and ultimately shaping the future for the next generation.

Every donor and volunteer makes a big difference. They can only do the great work they’ve been doing for these women because of wonderful people like you. Every dollar donated is a dollar towards beating breast cancer for good, and the empowerment of young women facing this disease.
