Wellington and Wongarbon spring field day
Event description
Join local producers and guest speakers for a field day on crop trials, pasture varieties and agronomic advice. There will be two sessions and lunch provided.
Event details:
Hosted by local producers, with guest speakers from Local Land Services, NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) and Grain Orana Alliance, this field day will feature the latest in agronomic advice across a range of topics and trial sites.
The morning session will cover:
Pasture variety demonstration
Canola National Variety Trial
Dual-purpose cereal grazing trial
The afternoon session will cover:
Best nitrogen strategies for improving crop yield and profit margins
Cereal National Variety Trial – including crop disease chat with Dr Stephen Simpfendorfer
Additional details: Lunch will be provided, so please RSVP for catering purposes.
