Wellington Branch - Supplier Diversity in Action with Amotai and GHD
Event description
Come along to the CIPS Wellington event co-hosted with Amotai and GHD for a presentation on "Supplier Diversity in Action!".
Supplier diversity is a strategic and intentional procurement process that proactively engages, supports, and enables businesses owned by minority groups such as indigenous peoples, LGBQTIA, veterans, women and social enterprises to be engaged in business-to-business (B2B) supply chains.
Amotai connects public, private, and not-for-profit sector buyers across Aotearoa New Zealand with Māori and Pasifika-owned suppliers. They unlock opportunities for innovation, growth, and resilience on both sides, supporting you to positively impact communities through your procurement process.
This mix event of guest speaker and networking session will show audience and demonstrate how Amotai has been leading the charge for Supplier Diversity across Aotearoa. You will learn about the history of supplier diversity in Aotearoa and the impact that it has had since arriving here in 2018.
You will also hear how and why GHD has been implementing supplier diversity into the organisation and the benefits it brings.
