Event Speakers: 

Greg Windsor, Solution Architect

Greg has dedicated nearly four decades to the technology sector spanning both the public and private sectors. Greg possesses in-depth experience in consulting, designing, implementing, and managing ICT solutions. Throughout his career, he’s held several senior IT management roles, including delivery, vendor management, solution design, and operations management. In his most substantial position, he oversaw the ICT Infrastructure Group within a major public body, managing over 120 staff and an annual budget exceeding $35 million.

His background includes comprehensive involvement in all stages of the procurement process. From a governmental perspective, his expertise covers the Treasury Better Business Case phase, developing RFPs, selecting vendors, conducting commercial negotiations, and overseeing implementation. From a supplier standpoint, Greg has been involved in qualifying opportunities, responding to RFPs, shaping commercial strategies, and facilitating  implementation. Greg has a deep understanding of Government Procurement Rules, AoG Frameworks, and public sector budget planning and management. Greg is known in the industry for integrity, thoroughness, and knack for negotiating mutually beneficial outcomes.

Dan Owen, Director of Cloud, Infrastructure and Data - NTT DAT

Dan has years of experience to the company after initiating his career in New Zealand with roles at Gen-i, Spark, and IBM. His responsibilities include leading NTT DATA go-to-market strategy. Specialising in both the public and private sectors, Dan has a strong foundation in public sector cybersecurity. In his capacity as the Director, he spearheads initiatives related to cloud computing and the ever-evolving field of artificial intelligence. He collaborates closely with sales teams, suppliers, and partners and engages with clients regularly.

In his early professional life, Dan served in the UK Royal Air Force, completing three deployments to Basra, Iraq. He credits this military service with teaching him the pivotal role that appropriately utilised technology can play in making a tangible impact.
