Wellington Folk Festival 2026

Nau mai haere mai ki WellyFest 2026! 🎻🌳💫

Join us this Labour Weekend for a long weekend of music, dancing, singing, and more!

Disappear into the bush and surround yourself with the sounds of folk music at Brookfield Outdoor Education Centre, 562 Moores Valley Road, Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt.

The festival gates open from 3pm on Friday 23 October, with music and events kicking off Friday evening and continuing right through until Sunday night.

Early bird pricing closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 28 September 2026.

Full-price online tickets will be available until Wednesday 21 October 2026.

After online ticket sales close, you can still come along and buy tickets at the gate.

🏕️ Stay the weekend

Weekend passes include onsite camping, so pitch your tent, settle in and make a weekend of it!

There are also a limited number of bunkroom bunks available to book. To grab a bunk, simply purchase your weekend pass first, then scroll to the bottom of the ticketing page to add your bunk.
