This one-day workshop provides an introduction to the fascinating study of the hand!
Moving away from predictive palmistry, handreading has become an established tool for self-knowledge and self-awareness.

This is the second in a series of three seminars covering the three aspects of handreading - fingerprints, hand shapes and lines.
You are welcome to attend this workshop even if you did not come to the Fingerprints session held in Wellington in May 2024.

In this workshop, we will be looking at the shapes of the hand, the power of the thumb, the significance of the skin texture and the psychology of the fingers.
Themes we will cover include:

* identifying our fundamental energy and drive

* how we orientate to the world

* kind of work we want to be doing

* how to get control over our lives

* the strength of our personal power and decision-making

* our personal psychology

* our relationship needs

* childhood experiences and how these have affected us

* the psychology of our relationship to our parents

We will learn about the language of the Five Elements and apply the elements to the hands and, especially, to the fingers and thumb.
It will be a hands-on exploration and by the end of the day you will know enough to assess both your hands and the hands of others.
