ImpactEd’s Comprehensive Literacy Framework: Empowering Educators for Literacy Success

ImpactEd’s Comprehensive Literacy Framework equips educators with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to build strong literacy foundations in their classrooms. This evidence-based approach empowers teachers to deliver impactful literacy practices that drive student success. ImpactEds Comprehensive Literacy Framework has been developed in-house, and peer reviewed by Dr Alison Arrow.

The Framework is underpinned by the following evidence based approaches:

Explicit instruction: Learning is inline with the instructional stages of development with the purposeful teaching of skills and knowledge.

Systematic and cumulative: Guided by a scope and sequence. Skills and concepts get progressively more difficult over time, typically a single linguistic concept at a time.

Multimodal, hands on, and engaging: Students engage in multiple modes of practice, reading, writing, listening, and manipulation. Students are able to engage, and are engaged.

Diagnostic and responsive: Assessment for learning; the teacher monitors progress and uses student response to adjust the pace, presentation, and amount of practice.

By integrating these strategies into their practice, teachers inspire students to become confident, critical, and capable learners of literacy.

ImpactEd’s Comprehensive Literacy Framework combines the science of learning, practical application, and structured pedagogy to empower educators. This holistic approach ensures that teachers not only enhance their expertise but also create meaningful, measurable improvements in student literacy outcomes.

All resources required for this workshop will be allocated to participants at no extra cost.
