Description

Join us for a Gong Sound Bathing Meditation facilitated by Matthew Peters of Sound Alchemy.

Each experience begins with a brief introduction to the gong and its unique qualities, followed by a short breath work practice to settle the mind and prepare the body for relaxation. Participants are then invited to get comfortable, ideally lying down, and enjoy a 70-minute journey through the rich tones and vibrations of multiple gongs and Himalayan singing bowls.

Through deep listening, participants are given an opportunity to quiet the mind, soften the body, and simply receive. There is nothing to accomplish and nowhere to go—only the invitation to breathe, listen, and allow the sound to create space for magic to unfold.

"The sounds of gongs and singing bowls are a bridge to the unseen, a doorway home to presence and peace, and it is my joy to share that doorway with others."

Wear comfortable clothing, you'll be laying on a yoga mat, on the floor, with blankets and bolsters as needed for support.

This is a complimentary event for those affected by breast cancer.
