We've probably already met, at a festival here and there around New Zealand.

Now it's my turn to host.

I would looooove you to come and visit us in Rotorua - check your diary!

It's the 1st and 2nd of March, 2025.

We extend a warm welcome to healers and healees, the wellness "curious", people who need a bit of self-love and self-care to help them get through, whatever you're going through.

If you are interested in stretching your mind, body and emotions in better health journeys. This weekend is for you.

Come sing, dance, eat, learn, stretch and be with us.

Even if you called in for an hour or two over the weekend, you will leave feeling better than you arrived.

It's that kind of place....and that kind of community.

We're only about an hour or three from all major ports in New Zealand - so it's a good excuse to grab a couple of your besties, or trust yourself to come solo and come for a roadie or fly in for a nighty, night, night. Or two-ey?

Plan to arrive on the Friday night before hand, or Saturday 1st or Sunday 2nd of March.

Throughout the weekend, we'll be inviting our respected teachers to guide us in lots of "feel-good" and "heart-warming" activities.

Things like yoga, meditation and dance and singing.

These are natural, fun and safe ways to release tension and re-tune your physical, emotional and mental energy.

During the market time - taste delciousness all around, connect with like-minded people, book a massage, experience body balance or absorb yourself in reading, writing or being read.

Open your heart to reiki, journalling, learning, reading, writing, helping look after our community garden,

Hang in hammocks, social time snacks,

De-Tox, take foot baths, try forest bathe-ing in secret places.

Where are we?

Nestled right in the heart of Rotorua is a sacred and special building.

It's been sitting unused for about 15 years, so it's no surprise you haven't heard of it.

It was originally built as a church in the mid-sixties so is an up-lifiting place to be.

It has been restored and redecorated by the Hindu Council of New Zealand, for the purpose of bringing the community together.

It is also the hub of Look After Me Headquarters - a wellness space for us all to enjoy.

It's a place where we promote self-care in nourishing ways proven to be good for mind, body and soul.

In this one special weekend, we are bringing our community together.

We'd love for our locals to pop in and volunteer for a bit, to help make our out-of-towners feel loved and special.

9.30 – 10.30 am Meridian energy flow workshop with Diane Rosenberg

10 – 11.15 am Breathwork (TBC)

11.15 - 12 noon Mindfulness and walking meditation with Susannah

MEET OUR 'BE WELL' COLLECTIVE

We're a group of healers, teachers, therapists, counsellors, market stall holders and practioners who enjoy sharing knowledge to help people heal from emotional, physical or mental trauma, grief and stress.

Our Wellness Collective formed to teach effective practices to re-align and re-charge your energetic systems. In turn, this can make you feel healthier and happier.

Nothing beats the energetic uplift from experiencing the lightness and power of a healing community when we come together to share our collective talents.

It amplifies your healing experience.

WHO COMES TO OUR WELLNESS WEEKENDS?

We are age, stage, faith and gender friendly.

We are meat and alcohol free, all weekend, which creates a safer space, particularly for women and children.

Our community is people interested in wholistic approaches to their own personal wellbeing.

We share nourishing mind-body-soul practices like yoga, meditation, journaling, sound journeys, healing circles, uplifiting speakers, chanting and dancing as ways to encourage clarity and healing in your life.

Our events are helpful for people healing from emotional, physical mental trauma, grief, stress and various medical conditions. At this Wellness Weekend we are lucky to have wonderful healers who work in the Addiction Space. It is good to be open and honest about addiction - we know it's rife in our community so we are opening up some of those conversations within yourselves.

If you can, we recommend you come for the whole weekend for a full Mind-Body-Soul experience.

We are encouraging as many people to register as volunteers, market stall holders, or therapists... this event is for you!
