Campfire and Canopy: a Morning in the Wellsford Forest
Event description
What's Happening?
Join us for a morning in the heart of the Wellsford Forest, where we'll gather around the campfire to bake damper on a stick, slathered with butter and honey. This hands-on activity is perfect for families looking to connect with nature and like-minded people.
We're thrilled to be joined once again by the Wellsford Forest Friends & Landcare Group. These passionate local experts will share their knowledge about the unique Box-Ironbark forest ecosystem. Have you ever wondered how to identify a lace monitor's recent visit or what makes a tree a Box-Ironbark? Bring your questions and curiosity!
During the session there'll be ample time for exploration and free play in the bush.
