Join us for WEN Connect: After Hours & Early Birds, a free monthly event where you can meet and mingle with like-minded people. Whether you are a student, a professional, or just curious about the field, this is a great opportunity to expand your network and share your experiences. The event is free for members and non-members, but members get a complementary drink on arrival.

Early Birds | This month, we will meet at Roma Adelaide, a new cafe and restaurant in Waymouth Street with selection of warm drinks and breakfast items. The event will run from 8am to 9 am on Tuesday, November 12th.

The Women in Economics Network (WEN) was formed in 2017 to promote and support the careers of female economists in Australia.

The objectives for the Women in Economics Network are to:

professionally connect and support the career development of women in economics
increase the representation of women at all levels of the economics profession
promote public contributions by female economists
encourage young women to study economics

WEN is affiliated with the Economic Society of Australia.

Membership of the Economics Society and the WEN is open to anyone with an interest in economics including economists and other professionals in academia, government, business and teaching.

People can join the WEN by becoming members of their local branch of the Economics Society of Australia.
