Newcastle's biggest celebration of local music returns for its 5th year.

For one day only, 10 stages across 9 venues in the heart of Midtown, Newcastle West will come alive with over 300 local musicians, showcasing the incredible depth and diversity of our city's music scene.

From indie rock and punk to folk, hip hop, blues, hardcore, electronic and everything in between, West Best Bloc Fest transforms the precinct into a walkable music festival where every venue offers a new discovery.

Headlined by acclaimed Australian songwriter William Crighton, this year's festival also features an outstanding lineup of local artists including CATPISS, Anna Weatherup, Bilby Queen, SF Wrens, Trophy Wyfe, The Howlin' Rats, FÄHM, Jarrod Grant & The Background Noise, Piper Butcher, Johnston City, KRISP, Loons, Trip Fandino and many more.
