Anthony and Amanda Truong

Amanda and Anthony’s dance journey began in 2010, and they first met while competing in Melbourne in 2011, and fell in love with West Coast Swing in 2013. They have since become dedicated instructors, teaching and judging at dance events across Australia and New Zealand from 2015. Known for their unique mix of skill, humour, and approachability, they’ve won numerous competition awards but remain focused on sharing the joy of dance. While family is their primary focus right now, they’re excited to return to the dancefloor and share their love of West Coast Swing with you!

Both love geeking out on the science of West Coast Swing, breaking down each movement and understanding how they work together to create that perfect partnership. Analytical in their approach, they make complex concepts easy to grasp. With a teaching style that’s relatable, Amanda and Anthony connect with dancers of all levels, creating a supportive environment where each participant can learn, grow, and enjoy the experience. Their classes are filled with laughter, banter, and a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring everyone leaves with a smile.
