West of England Sustainable Transport Network - Autumn Meeting - Road Safety in the West of England
Description
Join the West of England Sustainable Transport Network for our Autumn Meeting. This meeting is open to anyone working in or with an interest in transport in the West of England.
Meeting Topics:
A new Road Safety Strategy for Bristol
Keir Gallagher, Bristol City Council’s Road Safety Technical Lead, will give a presentation outlining the development of a new Road Safety Strategy, sharing an outline vision, and talking through some of the key issues facing the city. We will then open the discussion up for Q&A, as well as considering approaches that could be taken across the West of England.
Evolution of the STN in the West of England
The way that we run the STN is changing, and we are looking to expand our approach from Bristol to cover the whole of the West of England. The steering group will give a brief presentation about the changes, before exploring ideas that members would like to see on the agenda in 2026.
