Western Metropolitan Melbourne Planting Guide Webinar
Event description
As a D9800 Centenary Project, a plant selection guide specifically suited to the bio-regions of the Western urban areas of Melbourne has been developed by The Wheen Bee Foundation. Recognising the vital role of pollinators in our environment, the plants selected are those that support and attract birds, insects, bees and other pollinators all year round. The Planting Guide is a great resource for Clubs and friends for their own personal use in their gardens, patios, balconies, pots or roof gardens. It is also an opportunity to connect with community groups such as schools, local councils and others to initiate planting projects in parks, reserves, river banks, median strips, meadows, and community gardens etc
