    Event description

If you are interested in positively impacting the life of a child, join us online for an information session about Big Brothers Big Sisters West Melbourne's Mentoring Program.

We are looking for volunteers to mentor and support young people aged 10-17 years old in the Western Suburbs, specifically the following municipal areas:-

Hobsons Bay, Brimbank, Wyndham and Melton.

Learn how the power of friendship can be beneficial for young people who may be facing challenges.

These young people may be having issues engaging in education, have issues within their household where they do not have a responsible adult or carer providing them with support, they may also be young people who are starting to come into contact with Police or courts. Becoming a mentor can be life changing for everyone involved and provides an opportunity for the young person to see their potential.

The session will be facilitated by Big Brothers Big Sisters CEO Mark Watt who will be speaking with some special guests to share their experience being a mentor or mentee. It is an opportunity to learn more about the program, meet some of the team and get answers to frequently asked questions.

We look forward to seeing you there.
