WET NOISE 241116 The Scorpio Edition

In the days following the election I felt defeated, numb and paralyzed. In a short time my fears turned to motivated empowerment… however aimless. I don’t know what needs to happen next and how I am to do my part but I am ready. I DO know that my purpose and strength until this point has always been to create a safe space for joy, release, music, movement and community. I can’t change the world today but I can create space in my “backyard” for us to come together and recharge with mutual respect and love. 

On November 16th we're hosting the Scorpio edition of WET NOISE and celebrating my birthday. There will be jello shots and joy with THAT MATT in the back and DEEDEE DAME in the front. Come on down ... let us recharge your heart.

A note from Daddy Matthew if you please... a lot of new family has found WET NOISE in recent months. EVERY BODY is welcome on our decades old dance floor. If you are NEW to WET NOISE there are a few key factors we ask you to consider and respect...

1. No phones on the dance floor. If you need to reply to a text, take a call or stalk a lover thats fine... just REMOVE yourself from the dance floor first so you don't screw anyone else's vibes.

2. The Dance floor is for Dancing. If you need a break or want to chat with friends please take it to the front bar.... your neighbors will appreciate the room.

3. Make room for others. In the words of Mother Nita Aviance, " You may not realize but you are taking up more space on the dance floor than you think. Sharing doesn't mean planting ourselves as unmovable structures for others to make their way around. This is how most "othered" folks are forced to traverse the daily world and it is NOT what our dance floor deserves."

4. Be responsible with your substances. (Period) "G" or any other dissociative is NOT welcome at WET NOISE.  PLEASE PLEASE for the love of goddess be safe and test your substances. If you or someone around you is in trouble please speak to Matthew, security, the bar staff or a DJ and we will help. 

5. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY. BE NICE AND HAVE FUN! 

Lastly, we're leaving social media as of JANUARY 1st 2025. If you haven't signed up for the public open call DON'T SLEEP! After January 1st you'll have to be invited by another member. You can sign up HERE. You'll receive text message invites and postcards by mail and more.
