Have you heard the call of the Growling Grass Frog? Would you like to learn how to recognise frog calls and learn about how you can help protect frogs?
Join us for a sunset walk to listen to the frogs of Deanside wetlands. There will be hands-on activities to help you discover the wonderful world of frogs. You will learn to identify and record frog calls, and maybe even spot one or two!

What's on:
Frog tour and recording – explore the wetland after dark and learn how to identify species from their calls and capture their sounds using the Frog Census App.
What to bring:
Smartphone with the Frog Census app downloaded
Comfortable outdoor clothing, long sleeves advised, and enclosed sturdy shoes. Please check weather forecasts in lead up to the event. The event will still go ahead if raining 💧
Torch or headlamp for evening spotting
