Event description

Youth Week is a nationwide festival of events organised by young New Zealanders to celebrate the talents, passion and success of local young people. To celebrate Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Youth Advisory Council are hosting an opportunity to korero and enjoy some kai while listening to a panel of local leaders with a final presentation from our keynote speaker (to be announced on our social media) to end the night. The theme for Youth Week this year is Take Our Place – Whai Wāhitanga so our speakers will be discussing how youth can take step up in the world and find meaning in their chosen career and/or study.

By registering for this event you give Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Youth Advisory Council permission to use images captured on the night on social media. If you do not wish to give permission please let one of the team know on arrival and we can arrange for no pictures of you to be shared.

On the day you can find us at Tūranga Library in Spark Place! Ask Library staff if you need help finding us.
