Whanganui River Hunt

Our yearly trip down the Whanganui River is happening again this year!

We will meet in the evening (travel in your own time) to the Owhango Hotel on Friday the 30th of May, where we can catch up on a good meal and a few cold drinks. 

On the next morning we will be embarking on our journey and will get dropped off at Whakahoro, where we will start our trip down the river to shoot goats, pigs and deer. 

As we will be going down the river in winter, please make sure you bring enough warm clothes, rain jackets, dry bags, etc. 

Our Overnight stays will be at John Coull Hut the first night and Tieke Marae the next night. The huts have electricity and nice kitchens, so no need for "dry meals" if you don't feel like it and want to reward yourself.

We will be picked up from Pipiriki around 1pm on the Monday.

A What's App Group will be formed closer to the time, so we can arrange car pooling, etc.
