Have you ever wanted to know what birds are in your backyard but did not know where to start?
As part of the 2024 Nature Festival, Alexandrina Council is holding several events where participants can connect with our regional birds and the diverse habitats that make up Alexandrina’s landscapes.
This workshop invites children new to birdwatching to marvel in the wonders of the local birdlife who also call Goolwa home. We will introduce you to some of our common local birds and where to find them and teach basic skills to identify them.
- When: 10am - 11am, Wednesday 9 October 2024
- Where: Goolwa Library, 11 Cadell Street, Goolwa
- Ages: 6-13 years and caregivers (caregivers must be present for the session)
- What to bring: Lots of interest and questions
