    Event description

JOIN THE CONVERSATION WITH 1 MILLION WOMEN AS WE TALK ABOUT HOW WE CAN ALL VOTE FOR CLIMATE IN THIS UPCOMING FEDERAL ELECTION!

    DATE: FRIDAY, MAY 13, 2022.
TIME: 1pm - 2pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) VIA ZOOM . This is a FREE event.

Ahead of the Australian Federal Election (May 21st), 1 Million Women is unpacking the question 'How do we vote for climate?' so we can all make an informed choice when we get to the polling booth.

This is the decisive decade for climate action and the politicians we vote for need to be the ones who will elevate climate action to the top of their agenda.

Join 1MW Founder Natalie Isaacs and our special guests Professor Lesley Hughes and Dr Rebecca Huntley on zoom for this important conversation.

Join in as Nat chats with Lesley and Rebecca about:

    • Why this is the critical election for climate action
    • What the science is telling us right now on climate and why 2030 targets are so important
    • How we have meaningful conversations with others in our electorate, our family, and friends about climate action
    • How we find the candidate who will honestly represent us and fight for climate action
    • What steps we all should take beyond elections and in between elections whoever gets voted in
    • How do we stay optimistic and hopeful

And we want to answer all your questions too.
