EYDN October Peer Network: What is Important to You?

What will we be doing?

5:30-6:00: Welcomes, introduction to the topic.

6:00-6:45: We will talk about what issues are important to you, or in your community

What is important is different to each person:

It might be something like:

• Fairness at work

• Access to transport in your area,

• NDIS

• Leadership opportunites for young people

You may think about things you talk about at work, school, with your family or friends

We will talk about why an issue is important to you. You do not need to share anything during the session if you don't want to, & we ask stories shared are kept appropriate and mindful of others.

6:45-7:00: Break

7:00-7:30: We will have final conversations and wrap up!

When: Tuesday 06 October 5:30pm-7:30pm

Enabled Youth Disability Network (EYDN) is an organisation run by and for young people with disability between 18-30 years in South Australia.

EYDN is dedicated to amplifying the voices and aspirations of young persons with disability through systemic advocacy, co-designing and facilitating peer networks and capacity building activities, in partnership with Purple Orange. EYDN is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

This event is for young people with disability aged 18–30 years old.
