Description
This online session explains what palliative care is in accessible language. It is much broader than just health care for physical symptoms, and it spans a broad timeframe as well - often including the final years of someone's life. We will use ten easy-to-remember aspects so that you can describe palliative care to your friends, family, networks, colleagues and community.
This session is designed for community members, but anyone can attend, including health professionals.
PalliLEARN aims to build community knowledge, death literacy, compassion literacy and community capacity in relation to serious illness, dying, death and grief.
