What is your work actually saying?
Description
Please note tickets purchased cover attending both dates 22nd and 29th. You need to attend both dates in order to get the full value and experience of this workshop.
Struggling to define your photography or videography style? In this two-part workshop, Melissa Mills will take us on a journey of self-discovery and creative clarity.
Part One (October 22): We'll kick off with guided questions designed to help you unpack what you truly love about shooting, what draws you in creatively, and what makes your work feel yours. By the end of the evening, you'll have clarity on the unique threads that connect your best work.
Between Sessions: You'll head off and source images, both your own and from other creators, that spark inspiration and reflect the style you're discovering. This curated collection becomes the foundation for Part Two.
Part Two (October 29): We'll reconvene to review your found images, identify patterns in what moves you, and collaboratively refine your artistic point of view. Walk away with a clear sense of your photography/videography style and the confidence to pursue it intentionally.
What You'll Get:
Clarity on your creative strengths and preferences
A defined point of reference for your artistic voice
Practical tools to apply your style to future projects
Connection with other photographers and videographers in our community
Doors will open both nights at 6pm. Pizza will be provided and a cash bar will be available. We will aim to kick off the workshop around 6.30pm and aim to be wrapped up by 9pm, although you are welcome to stay for a drink and a chat afterwards too.
