But a lot has changed since then, with increasing numbers of regional and rural Australians understanding that the energy system is changing and that now is the time to act to take advantage of the many economic opportunities on offer.
Join us for a discussion on what The Next Economy has heard from over 500 regional leaders across Australia about what they need to manage change on the path to net zero emissions and what they want from the next government.
