We'll be discussing how artists can get booked for festivals, the story of Spilt Milk and what the future may look like.

About Ryan Sabet

With in excess of a 15 year’s experience in the Australian music industry, Ryan has a strong track record of continued commercial success in the music, events & hospitality industry. He understands clearly how to identify & meet market demand.

Ryan has been at the helm of Kicks Entertainment since its inception in 2007, guiding the business from a local Canberra promoter to the its current standing as Australia's leading national touring festival promoter. With his business parter, Ryan has co-created and built multiple successful event brands and festivals including Spilt Milk. Ryan and the Kicks team continue to innovate to ensure the festival is at the forefront of a challenging festival industry, including the development of the important business relationship with Live Nation Australia.

Through his festival catering business Northbourne, Ryan continues to partner with leading event brands to provide liquor consultancy & operations for major events including Sydney World Pride, Lost Paradise, Runaway Speigeltent, Knotfest, Aqua Rugby and many more. A member of the ACT Liquor Advisory Board, Ryan previously was responsible for the award-winning Academy Nightclub and the development of Mr Wolf Club. Ryan is a recipient of the prestigious AHA John Press award for his work leading Keep Canberra Open to protect the ACT's late night economy.
