We're back!
By popular demand, our "What's in Your Stack?" webinars kick off with a series devoted to teaching genre studies through a Bookmaking/Writing Workshop approach.
Are you looking for new mentor texts to teach with?
Do you want to harness the power of “Your Stack”?
Then join us for an hour-long informal chat, where Lisa, Amanda and Katie each share a Stack and what they would teach with it.
If you can't join us in this time zone, we will email you a link to the recorded session within 24 hours. This will be 'live' for 14 days after the Chat.

How does it work?
- This Chat will focus on choosing and using mentor texts to teach young writers.
- It will focus on the purpose for writing being: to teach/inform your reader.
- We will share possible ways to frame this Study, goals you can consider for your young writers and ideas for the Stack we would curate to help make these goals visible.
Who is this suited to?
- Educators working with young writers aged 4 to 8.
- Educators who have some background with Writing Workshop/Bookmaking.
How do I join?
- Purchase your registration. Agree to the conditions of online learning. Please take care when entering your email address. Any typos mean that you will not receive important information, including the Zoom link. Use an email address that you will check and if you register others, please add their email addresses or forward all emails to them.
- A zoom link will be sent after registration has been processed. Please keep this link close by.
- 5-10 minutes prior to start time, use the link to go to Zoom.
- You will be in the Waiting Room until the Chat starts.
- We will email you a resource sheet about the Stacks we shared, and a Certificate of Participation after the webinar.
