    Event description

How to start identifying plants in your garden, local park or the bush!

Join Dick Copeman, Northey Street's bushtucker man, urban forager and amateur naturalist, as we learn how to recognise the plants all around us in our gardens and local areas. The gardens, orchards and revegetation areas of the Northey Street site will be our learning laboratory, with botanical notes, reference books and apps to guide us.

Bring your smart phone camera with the iNaturalist app loaded on and be prepared to start a learning journey that will hopefully continue for years!

    Youth Offer

This workshop is available to teenagers (12 to 18 years) accompanied by mum, dad or an adult guardian who have also paid to attend the workshop.
