Description

What should we do about the Super age?

Some argue it's time to means-test New Zealand Super or raise the retirement age to 67. Others worry this would harm the worst-off or chip away at a beloved universal entitlement. Lying underneath these debates are questions about what we want retirement to look like and how responsibility should be shared between individuals and the state. Come hear three sharp-witted thinkers put their case in an evening of stimulating debate.

Panellists

Cameron Bagrie – Managing Director, Bagrie Economics, and former ANZ Chief Economist

Susan St John (CNZM, QSO) – Professor of Economics, University of Auckland

Dr Bill Rosenberg – Economist and former CTU Director of Policy
