What Women Can Do

Sunday lunch and a glass of bubbles - what could be better?? Start off by catching up with your friends, introduce yourself to new friends, wander a small number of carefully selected market stalls and make some purchases, perhaps shout yourself another wine, or buy a bottle to take home, pick up your pre-ordered pies and cakes from Firth House Creations for Sunday night family dinner.  

Next - your scrumptious boxed luncheon will be ready for you to take your seat for an afternoon full of discovery for you and for Rochelle Courtenay, our fabulous guest, who is the founder and Managing Director of Share the Dignity.  Our own Dr Kristy Howard exemplifies 'what women can do' and will be opening up the conversation with Rochelle so we can all learn what led her to start a charity focused on menstruation and period poverty, never an easy subject to discuss (well in my youth anyway!). Kristy will dig into Rochelle's past and will discuss her vision for the future of the charity and how she measures success.  Kristy will also choose some audience members to speak to Rochelle about their involvement and love for our generous community. 

Your period product donations will be used to add to Share the Dignity's 'Its in the Bag' promotion In November - you'll find out more about this campaign on the day.  I'm very excited about this event and Im looking forward to your support.
