Dear Community Members,
The NSW Public Sector Community of Finance Professionals are excited to announce our next event, Morning with the CFOs, where you have opportunity to hear “What’s Important to CFOs in 2025”.
We are very fortunate to have six guest speakers to join us at a face-to-face event on Thursday 10 April from 730am to 9am at the offices of CPA Australia Sydney.
The event will begin with a short presentation from Caroline Edwards, Business Director Senior Finance Hays, who will share key insights from the CFO Viewpoint report. This will be followed by a round table discussion among CFOs on the challenges and opportunities in 2025 – covering Talent, Technology, Financial Sustainability. Attendees will have opportunity to engage with the panel and ask questions.
We are pleased to have an esteemed panel of speakers, including:
- Brenda Hoang, Deputy Secretary Finance, Technology & Commercial, Transport for NSW,
- Alfa D’Amato Deputy Secretary, Finance and Corporate Services, and CFO,
- Andrew Maggs CFO Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water,
- Libby Stratford CFO University of NSW,
- Matt Easdown CFO & Procurement, Department of Communities and Justice
Format: This event will be held in-person and online on Thursday, 10 April, from 07.30 am to 9.00 am for those attending in person. For those attending online, the live stream will start at 8.00 am.
This event will be open to sector members, regardless of your location across the state. We welcome our state, local, and federal public sector members and the university sector to join us.
