Wheel throwing with Fleur in Spring - Monday Evenings

Four two hour classes beginning Monday 17 November 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Our term classes in wheel-throwing are held weekly for two hours and come in both 8-week and 4-week options. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, these sessions offer a hands-on and engaging introduction to the art of wheel-thrown ceramics. Fleur provides support at every stage, from brainstorming your first designs to the final touches on your piece. 

Throughout the term, you'll learn the essentials: how to center and throw clay, shaping it into forms such as bowls, mugs, and vases. As your skills progress, you'll explore trimming techniques that refine your work, along with basic construction, surface decoration, and glazing methods.

Please note the centre is closed on Mondays so access to the ceramics studio will be via Fleur via our Queens street entrance.
