Wheelie Bin Art Workshop 3

Join local mural artist Anita Revel for a fun workshop supported by Woven Cowaramup where you’ll transform your wheelie bin into a work of art, which you can enter into the Cowie Town Teams' Wheelie Bin Art Competition.

Bring your yellow wheelie bin along, and Anita will guide you through prepping and stenciling your bin. You can choose from her stencil designs or go rogue and create your own masterpiece. Anita will provide you with 30mins of instruction and then you will be able to stay as long as you need.

But why decorate our bins? It’s a fun, vibrant way to creatively promote road safety and bring our community together. We want to encourage drivers to slow down, take notice, and appreciate the streetscapes throughout Cowaramup.

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION**
Bring: yellow bin, hat, sunscreen, empty jars for any spare paints you may want to bring home, ideas and creative vibes! 
Provided: primer, basic colour choices of paint, small range of stencils, brushes. If you wish to create your own image, Anita is available for personal assistance. 
Kids are welcome with an adult. 


Mark your calendars for the Cowie Town Teams' Wheelie Bin Gala 2024 on Sunday, November 10th at 12 noon! Join us at the basketball courts by the Duggan Pavilion for an epic celebration where the bins will hit the catwalk, showcasing what we love about Cowaramup.

Competing bins will vie for the coveted title of "Cowie Wheelie Bin Supreme Champion". Or win over the crowd to claim the People's Choice Award!
