Wheels at Wanaka 2025 - Tractor Drivers Club
Event description
Wheels at Wanaka is proudly presented by Three Parks, Wanaka. A biennial event, alternating every odd Easter with Warbirds Over Wanaka International Air Show. Wheels at Wanaka is an ALL vehicle, ALL machinery “history-in-motion” vintage fair - including steam engines, tractors & farming heritage, cars of all sorts, motorbikes, trucks, earthmovers, and heavy machinery.
Buzzing with energy, Wheels at Wanaka is huge! With over 50 acres of entertainment, with tractor/truck pulling and Enduro-X dirt bike competitions, ATV and electric rally car demos, an earthmoving extravaganza and a non-stop parade ground program! If it's got wheels or tracks, it will be on show it this Easter.
If you would like to drive a tractor in the parades (Sat 19 & Sun 20 April only) and you don't have your own tractor on show, then you can register here to become a member of the Tractor Drivers Club for a Membership fee of $20.
The $20 Membership Fee gives you access to;
- the unique experience of driving a quality vintage tractor from the amazing Wheels at Wanaka collection
- pre-event tractor club meetings, practice drives - to select, and get to know your tractor engine sessions
- entry to the Terra Cat Earthmoving Practise Day, the Shakedown in the Shed awards evening and the opportunity to camp onsite with fellow enthusiasts
- Highlands, proud Gold Partner of Wheels at Wanaka, is providing all entrants who book their wheels, engines or machines online ONE FREE PASS to the Highlands National Motorsport Museum, valued at $30.
- a Tractor Club Hub at the event including free refreshments, a green high viz vest, onsite transportation and seating close to the parade ground.
Please Note:
1. To be eligible for tractor club membership you must agree to our Terms & Conditions, including a driving test and you must be fit and healthy - being able to walk at least 200m.
2. This is NOT a volunteer role. If you wish to do more than drive a tractor in the parades, such as drive one of the Fulton Hogan Hop-on-Hop off FREE min-busses transferring people around the event or help with pack-in and pack-out or any venue preparation then please fill out the volunteer form instead – please include your preferred roles (dive tractors to and from show grounds to shed, including cleaning them) and a note that you're available to drive tractors in the parade as well.
3. We require a Tractor Club Coordinators to assist our Tractor Club Manager. If you’d like to be a crucial part of the crew and think you could help coordinate 100+ tractor drivers, then we'd love to hear from you and prefer if you’d sign up as part of our volunteer crew.
