Join us for a special event featuring Rachel Kyte, dean of The Fletcher School at Tufts University and adviser to the COP26 climate talks. This lecture will highlight the importance of inclusion and combating climate inequities through economic recovery and restructuring global governance. This lecture will also focus on the urgent need to decarbonize our economies and invest in a healthier planet for a healthier future.

Rachel Kyte is the 14th dean, and the first woman to lead, The Fletcher School at Tufts University. After graduating from the University of London with a degree in history and politics, and from The Fletcher School’s Global Master of Art Program (GMAP), Dr. Kyte served as special representative of the UN secretary-general and CEO of Sustainability for All (SE4All), leading efforts to promote clean, reliable and affordable energy. She has also served as the vice president of the World Bank Group and special envoy for climate action leading up to the 2015 Paris Agreement.
Dean Kyte was named one of the 15 women leading the fight against climate change by Time magazine and was appointed CMG in the 2020 UK New Year Honours.
She is a key member of the UN secretary-general’s advisory group on climate action, as well as a UK government advisor for the UN climate talks, COP26. She sits as co-chair of the Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative (VCMI), chair of the Rwanda Green Fund (FONERWA), and chair of the ESG committee of the Private Infrastructure Development Group. Dean Kyte advises nonprofits, governments and private-sector actors in climate, energy and finance for sustainable development.
