    Event description

Join the Queensland Farmers' Federation (QFF) Industry Resilience and Recovery Officer (IRRO) team for a free informative 'When Waters Rise' networking event.

The workshop will provide key insights and information for primary producers in the Logan region.

Meet with other local farmers and:

    • Learn how to develop a flood management plan for your farm
    • Connect with industry representatives including the Queensland Fruit & Vegetable Growers (QFVG)
    • Learn how to use Logan City Council's Disaster Dashboard.

This no-cost networking event is being hosted by the Queensland Farmers’ Federation’s Industry Resilience and Recovery Officers Eloise Cosgrove and Julia Jurgs.
    Food will be provided.

This workshop is a joint initiative of the Industry Recovery and Resilience Officer Program (funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements) and the Farm Business Resilience Program (funded through the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund and the Queensland Government’s Drought and Climate Adaptation Program).

This event is supported by the Logan Office of Economic Development.
